Christina Grethe has finished her education as a technician at the Medical Highschool in Hanover in 1997.
Afterwards she started her career at the Paracelcus hospital Langenhagen where she stayed for four years. There she was responsible for the laboratory, X-ray, ECG and pulmonary function tests.
From 2001 to 2009 she worked at the Digilab BioVisioN GmbH - a biotechnical company in Hanover. There she learned several technics in molecular biology, cell culture and biological chemistry.
After her parental leave, she worked in the department of "pediatric hematology and and oncology" at the MHH.
Since October 2010 Christina Grethe carries on research with Dr. Sibylle Haid in the study group of Prof. Dr. Pietschmann investigating the role of virus- and host cell factors, which are essential for a productive infection of HCV.
