Corinne Ginkel graduated from the University of Kaiserslautern with a degree in biology in 2002. From 2003 to 2007, she worked in Homburg at the Institute for Molecular Biology in the fields of further education and contract research. From 2008 to 2010, Corinne was employed by the University of Zurich’s Department of Molecular Life Sciences (ILMS), where she worked with Prof. Dr. Gerber in cell biology. In 2010, she relocated to Hannover to work at the Institute for Transfusion Medicine of the MHH. Since 2011, Corinne has been working at the Institute of Experimental Virology as an experienced employee, supporting various projects, ranging from hepatitis-C-virus vaccine research to immunological footprint patient screenings against SARS-CoV-2.
