Janine Müller completed her Abitur at the Rats-Gymnasium in Stadthagen, where she discovered her fascination for the natural sciences. She started studying biology in Göttingen at the Georg-August University. Following the completion of her bachelor's thesis on the genetics of eukaryotic microorganisms, she enrolled in the Leibniz University Hannover's molecular microbiology master's program in 2020. For her master's thesis, she is now working in Prof. Dr. Pietschmann's group on the entry mechanisms of RSV strains.
